ANALOG WATER LEVEL WHISTLE (depth tester) – a portable, mechanical water level indicator, also known as a hydrogeological whistle, designed for measuring the depth to the water table in piezometers, dug and drilled wells, as well as during geological and hydrogeological drilling operations. The device is used in fieldwork, groundwater level monitoring, well inspection, environmental investigations, and the servicing of water installations.
The analog whistle operates on a simple and reliable mechanical principle – when the probe comes into contact with the water surface, it produces a characteristic sound (whistle), which serves as a clear signal to the operator. This solution does not require battery power or any electronic components, making the device resistant to harsh field conditions, moisture, and low temperatures.
