In the first quarter of this year, the surplus in trade in goods in Poland’s foreign trade amounted to PLN 3.5 billion, which is a huge success compared to the same period in 2019. According to Eurostat data, in the first quarter of 2020, foreign trade turnover amounted to PLN 254.9 billion in exports and PLN 251.4 billion in imports, which translated into an increase in exports by 0.6% and a decrease in imports by 0.4% compared to 1st quarter of 2019.
The Central Statistical Office informed:
“Despite the introduction in the second half of March this year. a number of restrictions in Poland related to COVID-19, they did not have a large impact on the foreign trade statistics. The boundaries of the flow of goods were and are open. In the data for March, the turnover in foreign trade statistics decreased, ie in exports by 5.6% and in imports by 2.5% as compared to March last year ”.
Such a good situation in Poland translated into an increase in sales of NOVABO products abroad. We consider the international recognition of our products to be a huge success.
